I never thought I’d be the type to make friends on the internet, but I’ve made some really good mates through Twitter. And every so often we all get together and do what we do best… cook a shit load of food (we each do a course)… stuff ourselves silly and talk a lot of crap.
Each meal has a theme and last weekend we enjoyed a lot of fancy French stuff.
Steak Tartare with quails’ eggs
… with prawns, sea bass, eel and lobster (yes, seriously)
Confit duck with dauphinoise and confit green beans (because, why not?)
Lemon Tart and madeleines (sorry for the particularly crap pic)
It was tremendous.
